ANTALYA, Turkey, April 9, 2023 — The International Federation for Honoring & Appreciating the Message and Messenger of Islam (IFHAMM) proudly introduces itself to the global community, with a primary mission to foster understanding, appreciation, and respect for Islam, the Quran, and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

IFHAMM is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad among people worldwide through educational and awareness activities, initiatives, campaigns, and events.

Built on three key pillars – The Think Tank, The Grass-rooting Movement, and The Anti-Defamation Efforts – IFHAMM is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to providing comprehensive insights and support to both the intellectual and grassroots aspects of Islam. By addressing and actively combating defamation, IFHAMM aspires to make a meaningful and lasting impact on hearts and minds worldwide.

Prof. Bassem K. Khafagy, the founder of IFHAMM, passionately shares his vision for the organization: “IFHAMM is more than just a think tank; it’s a catalyst for change, a platform for dialogue, and a beacon of light in a world that often misunderstands Islam, the Quran, and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Our mission is to bridge the gap between different cultures and faiths, and to facilitate an environment where respect and understanding flourish.”  He added: “Our vision is to see a world where the Message and Messenger of Islam are honored, appreciated, and understood by people of all backgrounds, cultures, and faiths.“

As part of its mission, IFHAMM will engage scholars, researchers, and experts to produce high-quality research, publications, and policy recommendations, providing in-depth analysis and understanding of Islam, its teachings, the Quran, and the life of Prophet Muhammad. The organization will also lead and support various grassroots initiatives and campaigns, utilizing the power of community engagement and awareness to foster a deeper appreciation for Islam, the Quran, and the Prophet’s teachings.

IFHAMM remains dedicated to countering misrepresentations, defamation, and prejudice. Through a combination of legal, educational, and advocacy initiatives, the organization seeks to address and challenge negative narratives, misinformation, and biases, shaping a brighter, more understanding future for all.
